Graduation is a BIG deal. Even a preschool graduation is reason enough to celebrate in a large way. So to help show your ginormous pride, Wholesale Party Supplies has got an over-sized yard sign project that’s sure to put a huge smile on your graduate’s face.

Put this sign in front of your house, and your neighbors will have no doubts as to where the party is!

Sign Materials

Start with this 10-ft Graduation Letter Banner (other colors available here) and three 8-ft lengths of lattice molding strips from the home improvement store. The lattice is beefier than regular doweling, so it should hold up to outdoor conditions better.

Cut the lattice strips into twelve 2-ft pieces. Additionally, not pictured, we used a ½” dowel for the grad cap circle. This choice was cheaper then purchasing another full 8-ft molding strip.

Trim all hinges from the banner pieces.

Staple letters to the lattice strips. Some strips may be easier to staple than others. If you get a tough one, grab the hot glue gun and secure it using that method. In fact, you may choose to glue all the letters – There’s no right or wrong way to do this. The advantage of using staples, though, is that they can be easily removed so both the letters and lattice can be used again.

Next step? GO stake the yard and take a moment to savor the success of your graduate.
