Make the most of the late summer fruits and add a festive treat to a summer party or fiesta. You can substitute this recipe with any of your favorite or seasonal fruits.

Fun to eat and healthy fruit kabobs that are a party favorite!

You’ll Need:

  • Melon balls or cubes
  • Bananas
  • Strawberries or Blueberries
  • Pineapple
  • Kiwi
  • Grapes
  • Kid-safe skewers such as wooden craft sticks or coffee stirrers
  • Apples, pears and oranges will work depending on the width of the skewer

Directions:

  1. Cut fruit in large chunks.
  2. If you are using apples, pears or bananas, rinse them in lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Gently insert the skewer into the fruit alternating between the various fruit to add variety.
  4. Place the fruit kabobs on a party platter.
  5. Cover and chill until serving.
