Your graduate will move to the head of the class with these candy bar invitations! Choose from a number of different styles and colors and personalize with a baby picture and graduation photo. You’re sure to get a few thumb ups and likes with these!
Make use of some old books by covering them in black wrapping paper and using them to decorate your table. The stack of books make a great cupcake stand base as well. Decorate gable boxes with crepe paper in school colors and secure with personalized stickers. You can use gable boxes to hold party favors or a boxed lunch if you are having a picnic style event.
Candy bars are here to stay so have fun with it by incorporating scrolls and graduation cap themed treats. Wrap a red ribbon around a couple of Pirouettes to make them look like a diploma scroll.
You can order plain cakes and cupcakes for your party, which is perfect if you want to decorate them yourself. Want something a little more personal? Edible images are awesome and won’t alter the taste or flavor of your cake at all.
Candy graduation caps make great cupcake toppers and are sure to wow your guests! They are not only tasty but make a fun project to do with your kids. For a more festive look add a little CandyFetti™ from Sweets Indeed to your treats!
According to a very unofficial poll from a group of teenagers and soon-to-be grads, the most popular activity at a graduation party is a photo booth. You can use a simple sheet as a backdrop or get creative with paper fans, streamers or other inexpensive party supplies. Fill a basket with a couple small chalkboards for fun messages, a collection of sunglasses, hats, silly masks, crazy wigs, and of course lips and mustaches. Create a special hashtag and share that with your guests so you can follow along with all the fun pictures they are taking.
Easy and useful favors are key when planning a party. You can create a diploma scroll favor by filling a plastic candy tube with white Sixlets and tying a red ribbon around it. These can be made a couple weeks ahead and you won’t have to worry about them going bad. You can also pass out fun graduation sunglasses and add a tag that says, “Your future’s so bright you gotta wear shades.” Tags can be downloaded for free here.
