No need to wait for a full moon to plan this spooktacular Vampirina Party for your little vampires and monsters. Vampirina is Disney Junior’s latest masterpiece – it’s a TV cartoon about a little vampire girl (Vee) and her family that moved to a human town to open a bed & breakfast for monsters. Sounds pretty exciting, right? This is a fun theme for either a birthday party or a Halloween party so let’s fly right into all the creative details!

Vampirina Party Invitations

Let’s start right at the beginning with the invitations. This kid-friendly yet slightly spooky theme includes friendly, ghosts, spiders and of course, vampires. Check out this Vampirina invitation that you can personalize with all of your party details. Since Vee’s parents operate a bed & breakfast, a fun idea would be to theme this as a hotel-style invitation with the RSVP request being to contact the “concierge”. Some creative wording includes:
- Drop in for a bite…
- You are inBITED to {child name}’s birthday party!
- Join us for a fang-tastic party!
- Get ready for a spooktacular good time!
- Join us for a SPOOK-tacular breakfast at the Scare B&B to celebrate {child name}’s birthday!
- Fly on over and join us for a screamin’ good party!

Vampirina Party Decorating Ideas

Since Vee & her family live in a mansion that they’ve turned into a monster-friendly bed & breakfast (B&B), I used a haunted mansion backdrop for this party. Sticking with the B&B idea, we went with a breakfast buffet. All kids love breakfast foods! The Hauntley’s have a personal chef named Chef Remy Bones (a skeleton) so I make a “Bone Appetit” sign for the main buffet table featuring a skeleton.
Here are some additional ideas for setting the scene at your Vampirina party:
- spider web tray
- black bat garland
- bat foil centerpiece
- glitter bat & gauze kit
- glitter bat toothpicks
- black bat stickers – could turn these into large cupcake toppers
- midnight lace mantle scarf
- inflatable coffin cooler
- Halloween haunted house centerpiece
- bat piñata
- spider web doilies
- silver foil balloon letters to spell out BOO
- DIY hanging foam bats
- DIY Vampirina paper lantern with these purple paper lanterns
- DIY large garbage bag spider webs
For your eating area, I went with a mixture of spider webs, black bats and the little vampire tableware set. Across the back wall, I used the personalized little vampire banner with a large black bat foil balloon. Other than the typical bat & vampire colors of black & white, Vampirina uses a lot of pinks and purples so you could mix these into the décor to give it that softer look.

Here are some other supplies for setting your Vampirina party table:
- spider web 10” plate
- little vampire lunch plates
- spider web dessert plate
- black bat dessert plate
- black bat lunch napkin
- little vampire lunch napkin
- black bat plastic cup
- polka dot dinner plate
- purple grid dessert plate
- spider plastic table cover
- black bat plastic table cover
- purple forks and spoons
- purple royal goblets
- DIY black folded bat napkins

Vampirina Party Photo Booth

For this photo booth, I used the same haunted mansion backdrop and added a spooky black chandelier, a large bat foil balloon and some large Vampirina character standups. Photo booth photos are always a fun idea to send with Thank You cards after the party. Here are some fun ideas for setting up your Vampirina photo booth.
